About the Project

MY LIFE in EUROPE is a project co-funded by the Erasmus + program of the European Union that promotes innovation and the exchange of good practices.

The objectives of the project are:

Using the therapeutic value of autobiography, in a new and captivating technological tool to stimulate the memory of patients with deficits, promote social inclusion, intercultural and intergenerational exchange and mitigate the sense of loneliness and abandonment;

Extend and develop the skills of educators and other staff who support adult learners by providing innovative technological tools that can support lifelong learning and training;

Raise awareness of European identity and help the psycho-physical well-being of its citizens, especially the weakest.

Intellectual outputs

The expected results of the MY LIFE in EUROPE project are two: a game, which can be inserted by right among the so-called "serious games", that is the latest generation of digital games designed for educational purposes in the context of adult education, and a manual for trainers.

THE GAME

The game is a web app, easy to use and free, downloadable offline on smartphone or PC, through which any educator can use the technique of autobiographical writing in an easy and fun way, as a useful path in therapeutic, rehabilitative and recreational programs.

MANUAL FOR TRAINERS

The manual for trainers allows the creation of repeatable training courses: it is designed for structures and associations that deal with assistance to the elderly at various levels, from the simple nursing home to the assistance center for Alzheimer's and senile dementia patients, from the center recreational to shelters for non self-sufficient elderly people.
