In these days the partners of the project “My Life in Europe” are completing the translation of the online game “My Life the game” in order to finally start a testing phase of the application in the original language also in Romania, Poland and Portugal.
My Life in Europe is an Erasmus+ project whose participants include the Asphi Foundation, the Libera Università dell’Autobiografia di Anghiari, the Centrum Edukacji i Badań Społecznych (Poland), the associations Vai Avante (Portugal) and ProXpert (Romania).
The aim of the project is to explore the therapeutic value of autobiography through a game to be played “in presence” but also online. At the end of the planned thirty months, ending in 2023, a paper game and its online version, “My Life the Game”, will be released, together with a manual that will guide the facilitators through the game.
The target audience, i.e. the players of this game, will be mainly elderly people, residents of facilities or enrolled in assisted socialisation centres.
“We are on schedule, even though the pandemic has put us in difficulty several times,” says Carla Sabatini of Nkey srl, project leader, who continues: “We are constantly in contact with our partners and obviously those who are closer to Ukraine are experiencing these days with greater alarm. The international situation worries us enormously. We are going ahead with our project, aware of the seriousness of this conflict and also aware of Europe’s ability to promote peace between peoples.
